Cancellation & Refund Policy

At OyoFares, a unit of Askmefare LLC, we strive to make your travel experience smooth and transparent. However, as a travel service provider, we do not control the cancellation or refund process, these decisions are made solely by the respective airlines. We follow their policies and procedures in all cases.

1. General Overview

  • Most flight tickets booked through OyoFares are non-refundable unless the airline’s fare rules state otherwise.
  • Refunds, if applicable, are processed strictly as per the airline’s cancellation and refund policy.
  • OyoFares cannot guarantee any cancellation or refund, as the final decision rests with the airline.

2. Cancellation Requests

  • Cancellations must be requested within 24 hours of booking to be considered for a refund, as per airline policy.
  • All cancellation requests must be submitted via phone to our customer support team, we do not accept cancellations by email or chat.
  • Once your cancellation request is received, we will send a confirmation email with a reference number for future correspondence.

3. Refund Process

  • Refunds are generally issued in the form of travel credits, which can be used for future bookings with the same airline.
  • When using travel credits, passengers must pay any fare difference, airline charges, or post-ticketing fees applicable at that time.
  • Service or booking fees charged by OyoFares at the time of purchase are non-refundable.
  • Refund processing time depends on the airline and may take 60–90 days from the date of the request.

4. Airline Authority & Penalties

  • Airlines may impose penalties or service charges for cancellations or refunds, depending on the fare type and number of passengers.
  • If the airline determines a refund request to be invalid, it may reject or partially process it based on its own policy.
  • OyoFares is not responsible for airline decisions, fare changes, or policy variations.

5. Important Notes

  • We process refund and cancellation requests in sequence and forward them to the concerned airline for approval before disbursing any refund.
  • We cannot guarantee the refund amount or timeframe, as it is entirely at the airline’s discretion.
  • Service charges collected during the booking process are non-refundable, even in cases of airline-approved cancellations.
